Mrs. Dagmawit Moges Bekele is the Director of the African Union’s Peace Fund Secretariat, a position she has held since March 2023. She served as Ethiopia's Minister of Transport and Logistics from October 2018 to January 2023. She holds a B.A in Public Administration and Development Management, and an M.A in Public Management and Policy from Addis Ababa University, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Management at the University of South Africa.

Her public service career began as General Manager of Kolfe Keraneyo Sub-City in Addis Ababa. She has held various roles, including Deputy Mayor and Board Chairperson of the Addis Ababa Mass Media Agency. She has also been a Cabinet member and a Member of the House of People's Representatives of Ethiopia.

Mrs. Moges has received significant accolades, including being recognised as one of 21 Heroes of 2021 by the Transformative Urban Mobility Initiative, and named among the 100 most reputable Africans in 2023.
