Since October 2022, Ms Hassatou Diop N'Sele is Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer at the African Development Bank Group. Prior to this, she held the position of Group Treasurer for seven years and of Head of funding from 2009-2015.

Ms N'Sele leads the mobilisation and investment of financial resources for the Bank Group, provides oversight for the financial reporting, financial risk management and co-financing and syndication activities of the institution.

She successfully oversaw general capital increases of the African Development Bank, pioneering the establishment of hybrid capital by Multilateral Development Banks and the channeling of Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) to MDBs.

Featured in TIME magazine in 2024 as one of the 100 most influential leaders driving business to real climate action, she previously served as Finance Director of Tiger Denrees Senegal and Manager at Citibank in Senegal. Ms N'Sele holds an MBA in Finance from George Washington University.
